    This issue has been labored over for the past 40 years that I've lived in San Francisco (SF)!
    I have been a tenant for around 20 years and now a landlord for 20 years.
    The Tenants Union in SF and the California Association of Realtors are both hard to take seriously after considering biasness.
    Maybe California is too unusual to analyze, but I suggest we first decide what makes a City great and then determine impartially whether rent control is any form is acceptable or not.
