Brokers Rallying Against Whole-tail Lending rated wholesale lenders on their broker relationships

    So happy that Anthony Casa started this. Wholesale Lenders are starting to take notice and treat brokers better and stop stealing clients

    The Whole Tail Lenders ( the bad guys) are feeling the pressure because brokers aren't working with them anymore. My office won't even talk to the Quicken Loans or Loan Depot people. We just tell them to leave, as we know what their corporate companies are up to.

    We all have to stop working with Quicken, Caliber, Loan Depot and the other bad guys. Then they will change the way they act, and we will ALL be better off in the long run

    I am so happy that this is going well, and glad that we have someone supporting us brokers, thank you Anthony and Brawl.

    Since when are a mortgage brokers clients "their clients"? If more brokers would learn to operate as a relationship-based professional and not a transactional lender, they wouldn't have to worry about retail taking their deal. And as long as the broker isn't taking the steps to grow to a position where they can service mortgages, provide customer support on a closed mortgage, etc, the mortgage belongs to the servicer, and if an opportunity to refi arises why shouldn't they pursue it? BRAWL strikes me as whining from brokers who don't know how to manage their database.
